A beautiful pie presentation with a raspberry dressing to complement the key lime flavor. However, the pie was not tart enough for our tongues. More of a custard consistency than pie filling. Texture was smooth as silk though.
The Key Lime Pie Review sets out to find and rate the best classic key lime pies from around the world. Our judges are Florida Keys natives and are the limiest of key limers!
Ratings are from 0 to 8 slices. An 8 slice pie is "one of the best key lime pies ever," possessing all the balanced flavors of a classic KLP, plus a subtle gesture of creativity!
